The Stigma Shift Podcast

Real people. Real places. No studio walls required.

Stigma Shift is a podcast about mental health, recovery, purpose, leadership, stigma, and the stories people usually tell after the microphone is turned off.

Sometimes we record at your business. Sometimes in your community. Sometimes on a trail. The setting changes. The conversation stays real.

From Radio to Podcast

The microphone stayed. The walls didn’t.

Stigma Shift began as a radio show on KRIM 96.3 FM, creating space for direct conversations about mental health, addiction, recovery, stigma, community, and what it actually takes to change a life.

The next chapter keeps that same spirit but takes the show out into the places where people actually live their stories.

If the story lives on the trail, we’ll walk it. If it lives at your business, we’ll sit there. If it lives somewhere unexpected, that may be exactly where the microphone belongs.

The goal is not a perfectly polished interview. The goal is a conversation somebody listening to can recognize themselves inside.

The radio show found a new trail.
How the Show Works

Different places. Same kind of honesty.

The format is built around the guest and the story rather than forcing every conversation into the same studio chair.

🥾

On the Trail

Walking conversations in Sedona and across Arizona where movement, landscape, and story can share the same frame.

🏢

On Location

Your business, nonprofit, workspace, community, event, or another place connected to who you are and what you do.

🎙️

Long-Form Conversation

Enough room to move past elevator pitches and into the parts of the story that actually matter.

Episodes can be produced for podcast listening, video platforms, clips, and social media storytelling.

What We Talk About

Stories worth getting beneath the surface of.

Stigma Shift is broad enough to follow the person, but grounded in conversations that connect back to mental health, change, purpose, and what makes us human.

Mental Health & StigmaWhat people misunderstand, hide, survive, and wish someone had talked about sooner.
Recovery & AddictionWhat rebuilding really looks like after the dramatic turning point is over.
Trauma & ResilienceHow people carry the past, adapt, heal, grow, and make meaning without romanticizing pain.
Leadership & PurposeWhat happens when experience becomes service, advocacy, business, creativity, or community leadership.
Justice & ReentryIncarceration, systems, second chances, identity, crisis response, and lives bigger than a record.
Arizona People & PlacesThe people building, serving, creating, healing, and changing communities across the state.
Who Makes a Great Guest?

You do not need a famous name. You need something real to say.

This Could Be a Good Fit If You…

  • Have lived experience you are ready to talk about responsibly
  • Work in mental health, recovery, justice, healthcare, education, or community service
  • Are building something meaningful in Arizona
  • Have a story that can help somebody feel less alone
  • Can talk honestly about both struggle and what came next
  • Want a conversation rather than a commercial

Probably Not the Right Fit If…

  • You only want to sell a product for an hour
  • You need every question scripted in advance
  • You want shock value without responsibility
  • You cannot discuss your topic without attacking or demeaning other people
  • You are looking for clinical endorsement the show cannot provide
  • You are not ready for a candid conversation

Have a Story Worth Hearing?

The best conversations rarely begin with “So, tell me about your brand.”

If you are in Arizona, coming through Arizona, or have a story that belongs on Stigma Shift, reach out and tell me why we should sit down—or hit the trail.

Podcast conversations may include sensitive topics such as mental health, trauma, addiction, suicide prevention, incarceration, and recovery. Stigma Shift is educational and conversational media, not clinical treatment or individualized medical or mental health advice.
